About Us
Our philosophy
At Wild And Love Early Learning Village, we support children to be life long learners by responding to and teaching in the context of what we know to be true of children. That is that they are naturally innocent, curious and open and come to us with endless potential and unique and innate knowledge, skills, preferences, whakapapa, history and culture. We believe that children of all ages learn best from a secure base with trusted and nurturing adults. There is no other option for a secure base of a loving and trusted relationship.
We celebrate diversity, practice inclusion and self reflection on our own bias in regards to race, culture, gender, sexual orientation, physical and emotional ability and disability, language, national origin, indigenous heritage, religion, family structure and other identities. We embrace the bi-cultural essence of Te Trite o Waitangi and Te Whāriki, Early Childhood
Our Philosophy is based on these values:
Whānaungatanga
Maanakitanga
Kaitiakitanga
Whakamana
Aroha
We work in these values through:
Relationshiops; Respect for others
Making connections; Collaborating and co-creating
Celebrating; Hospitality; Generosity; Kindness; Support
Professional development; Appraisal; Self reflection; Love

Our Role as Teachers
We facilitate children's opportunities to learn in our role as teachers by:
Creating a safe, responsive and rich enviornment which is full of possibility and invites every child learn through exploration, wonder and creative play.
Building security and safe space through authentic, loving and reciprocal relationship with every child and their whanau as a platform for learning.
Intentionally planning for and documenting children's ideas and knowledge making it visible to the children, their whanau and teaching team.
Centre Management

Ronny
Centre Director
Kia ora whānau,
Ko Ronny tōku ingoa, and I’m proud to be the Centre Director and co-owner of Wild and Love Learning Village.
My journey blends a Master’s in Early Childhood Education with a strong foundation in business and marketing—this combination helps me lead with both care and clarity. Over the years, I’ve worked in various teaching and leadership roles across Rotorua and Auckland, and each experience has deepened my belief in the power of early learning.
At the heart of my philosophy is connection—when tamariki feel truly seen and supported, they flourish. I’m committed to creating an environment where children feel a deep sense of belonging and where relationships with whānau and kaiako are grounded in trust and shared purpose.
Outside the centre, you’ll often find me wandering antique markets or unwinding to classical music—both remind me to slow down and appreciate the stories behind the details.

Amy
Assistant Centre Manager
Kia ora, my name is Amy.
I am a qualified and fully registered early childhood teacher. I am married, with two children (6 year & 1 year old). I became qualified in 2015 and have continued to grow and develop as a teacher and a leader. I was a centre manager for two years prior to having my son, which has furthered my understanding of effective communication, effective listening and responding with teachers and whaanau.
